The International 2017 is just about one weeks again and now it’s time to unveil more about the schedule. Everyone must have prepared for the biggest tournament of this year. They are checking about who will be the caster, where they can go to watch it, and manymore. Let’s check what is new in the tournaments!
Tournament News
The host of the main event in this year is Kaci and Sean “Day9” Plott. They will be hosting through the dashboard or in The Talent section of Compendium. The schedule will be divide into two : group stage and main event. The Group Stage will start on August 2nd – August 5th 2017, and the main event will be hold on August 7th-August 12th 2017.
We as a fans definitely want to go to KeyArena to see The International in person, right? But, because of our busy daily activities, sometimes we can’t make it happen to go there. No need to be sad because in every problem there will be a way. This year, the company have partnered with Barcraft United to help users connect at local Pubstombs events around the globe. All we need is just visit the Barcraft landing page and find a Pubstomps in our area. Then, we can enjoy watching The International 2017 with our friends.
Once again a good news from all of Dota2 fans, yes, the Battle Pass Season was recently extended from the original end date of August 20th. It will now end on September 18th, to allow players to have ample time to enjoy the conclusion of the multiplayer campaign when it releases after The International.
For those who are new to Dota, you don’t need to be afraid because there is a Newcomer Stream !! The Newcomer Stream is a broadcast enhanced with contextual overlays aimed at easing people to understanding the world of Dota during The International 2017. Cool, right?
